Is Italy going to enter the CG movie industry?
When it happens it is really hard to believe what’s happening. But sometimes it really happens: looks like an Italian animation company, Rainbow S.p.A., got a huge success with a product for little girls and initially expanded the success from 2d animation to toys and other merchandise acquiring a market share of about 1.5 Euro billions.
This huge success made them take an even more interesting decision: they entered the computer graphics movie industry creating the RainbowCGI animation studio. This is driving them in direct competition with giants like Pixar, Walt Disney and Dreamworks, we have to wait for next Christmas to know which one will win.
Now I would like to know which operating system is powering up their render farm…
